Patch V1.5.3
Hello everyone, I am back after a while with a small patch!
I'd also like to take a moment to thank everyone who has been following me and the game, as we've hit some pretty substantial records recently! 100 followers here on Itch.io, and over 200 thousand views on our latest teaser not too long ago!
So just as last time, I'll be going over a lot of the changes in detail! But first the sort form version, the change log!

Change log:

Engine Update:
I first updated the engine in an effort to fix the packaging issues relating to the Mask finder. It didn't fix it, but I decided to stick with it anyways. I ran into some issues with cube maps affecting reflection amount, which was quite strange but I believe I managed to eliminate that.
But just in case, If you run into any situations where your standard mask looks extra shiny, then you know what to blame.
Fixed Mask Finder Packaging:
IT'S FINALLY FIXED!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Ahem... So yes the last packaging bug has been fixed, if you're unaware this is a nightmare issue that only happens when packaging the game. So it takes 30+ minutes to iterate on this bug, you just have to try different things and hope that that was it.
The worst part is though, it takes so long to be able to test it, that by the time you test it you've forgotten how you fixed it. So yeah I would explain how I did but I don't remember. What's important though is that it's in the game and it's even better than when I first added it.
UI Cancel System:
UI can now be canceled by pressing Escape! (This does not work with dialogue however.)
This was quite a bit more difficult than I was expecting, but after a small rework of all the UI - it works now.
Holiday Changes:
Oh ho ho, so you want me to spill the beans on what I've changed for the holidays huh?
Well too bad, you'll just have to wait and see... Mwuhahhahaah!
Okay... well they're not that big, but they are neat.
Passive Mobs Reducing XP:
You're probably saying, "Woah woah Jocool, won't this wreak havoc on balancing?! Can we reverse level now?"
No, balancing shouldn't be affected too much, there is plenty of XP in the world and procedurally spawning around. So you shouldn't have any trouble regaining it.
As for reverse leveling, no it shouldn't be possible. Feel free to try it, but it's very likely it will just cap at 0 XP.
Why did you add this? Well I thought it was funny, and a cheeky way to discourage players from slaughtering every ussal they come across. :/
Dialogue Changes:
Very small changes, so no need to mention them really. Mostly just spelling fixes, some grammar fixes, and some miscellaneous additions.
Tutorial:
As you can tell by the change log, the tutorial as been touched up a bit. Hopefully fixing the last issues with it, but we shall see.
Nobua:
He's in the game, and he's selling the last masks that weren't up for sale!
Race Quest:
Yeah, it was a little bit broken before. So it's less broken now, Plus the race should be more fair now.
